Wow, look at me now!
It was the week before Christmas. Business’s were closing people were gathering loved ones for the annual family get together and exchange of gifts was in count down. People were joyful and having parties.
Cherokee was not in the celebrating mood. For the previous 12 months Cherokee’s owners had been treating him for Mud Fever. While they would seem to get on top of it for small periods it would always come back. The week before Christmas 2008 it came back worse than ever.
It was mudfever in the white sock, however it was much more than that. It was almost like the mudfever had spread through his body and was now affecting his white blaze. The presenting photos showed a severe burn and lifting of the skin. It was by far the worst case we had seen. We took a deep breath, took the condition at face value and commenced treated of the symptoms we could see homeopathically.
When dealing with serious illness like this we have to be very considerate of the owners and the emotional stress they are under. It is okay for us to sit at a distance and get the progress update and photos. We give great consideration to the owners distress during these times. Sometimes these problems are life or death – not in that the illness will kill the animal, in that the owners have little choice but to put their special pet down if we can’t fix it.
The wonderful thing about homeopathy is that we don’t label problems. We treat on the symptoms and allow ourselves to be guided by the body signs and signals as to which remedy should be used next.
Interestingly enough this problem which looks so bad, and is painful for the horse, is very simple to treat homeopathically. The remedies required to achieve this healing are in our Beginners Kit and in most cases we can have the foot back to full health within 10-14 days. At Heal with Ease it is our business to provide natural healing solutions to all animal caretakers.

(Initial Photo’s sent of Cherokee’s Condition)
After three weeks of treatment with Heal with Ease products and special consultation, Cherokee was on the mend..
(Cherokee’s follow up photos sent to us on 5 January 2009)
All the healing was completed using internal homeopath remedies with a small amount of topically applied Homeopathic remedies. Cherokees owner was very happy with the ease and comfort of the treatment and was amazed at the speed of recovery. After 12 months persisting with conventional treatment and getting no joy, she could hardly believe her eyes, when after only 3 weeks it was completely healed.
