TREATMENT OF TICK POISONING
In the case of Tick poisoning if by the time you find the tick the animal has lost control of his legs or has breathing distress, you should go immediately to the vet. Don’t delay. At this stage it is a life and death situation.
If you have your kit on hand, start treatment asap. Even carry it with you when you go on holidays, camping or just the park for the day. For ticks, lift the tick up and off with the aim to lift the head and prongs of the tick out cleanly and completely.
Start treatment with 6 doses of No 5 Bites immediately.
Then daily with the Detox remedy to complete the cleansing of the organs and body.
Use No. 1 Respiratory Distress if breathing is laboured – see note above about going to the vet if in respiratory distress.
Note that the legs if paralysed, will be the last part of the body to heal, as they have little importance when it comes to the survival of the body.
Further treatment will depend upon the wound site, as follows:
If the wound is infected – use Infection Remedy
If the wound is hot and swollen – use Fever Remedy
If the body appears to be in shock – use Shock Remedy
