Dog Boils / Abscesses in Dogs
First you may notice a soft swelling from under the skin. It may be painful, although many times there is little or no pain. When a dog has an abscess it can cause generalised illness and in most cases can be handled at home using specific homeopathic medicine.
An abscess occurs when an infection develops in a part of the body that is capable of opening into a pocket, usually as a result of a puncture wound of some sort. My neighbors dog keeps getting a recurrent abscess between her toes on her back paw. The Vet has drained it twice and now wants to surgically remove it. Is there any other consevative treatment for this.
