Promise Me a Miracle

I would like to introduce you to Promise short for Promise Me a Miracle.  Promises’ journey to the earth has been a very long and involved tale full of grief, trauma and absolute joy.

The following is Allyson’s account of how Promise came to be.

Hi Cathy

Please forgive the lapse of time since I said I would send a precis of Cosi’s story and the amazing result of years of persistence……  It has been of course a hectic time and lots going on, not to mention the way time flies when you find yourself sitting in a paddock watching a foal play. I swear sometimes Ive been there for days on end at a time….  !!!

The beginning of my journey with Cosi started the day I rescued her, many many years ago now, and found that the two horses we had to take her away from were her own filly and colt, two horses she had never been parted from in their lives.  The separation was due to her being shot through the neck and left to die in the bush, so of course not negotiable that we get her out of there for treatment.  Her agony at that parting made me promise to her that day, in the back yard of a friend who had room for a horse, that I would one day give her a foal she would not have to part with, ever.
What a can of worms I opened!!!!!!  From Central Australia to Queensland and back to WA we have travelled. During that time I started with normal breeding methods, then when they didn’t work we investigated reasons why and went a little left of centre in order to bring that foal into existence…  Until I was told by very highly qualified equine breeding specialists that the scarring in her uterus was beyond repair, and she would never ever have the foal I had promised her.
Still, an animal psychic friend in the States told me that she dreamed of Cosi with her OWN foal, and so I had a little voice in my mind saying “don’t give up”…
We tried everything… Herbs and red light therapy and massage and everything in between….  Prayers and rain dances and speaking out loud to Epona… Years passed….

Then we found YOU.

I don’t remember how long ago it was Cathy that I first told you of her plight, perhaps it was Monti (Allyson’s German Shepherd) I first contacted you about. I still have Cosi’s Healing Plan in all its complicated glory – perhaps I should frame it!!!!!!  I followed those instructions to the letter, after reading about homeopathy which at that time I knew absolutely nothing about. (Not that much has changed LOL)…..

December 2010, my beautiful girl slipped a foal, 7 months in utero, a beautiful black colt with a big white blaze just like his daddy….  but Phoenix, as I named him, was here for  a very special reason. He made Cosi ready for the next stage of what you made possible, by ensuring the previously inhospitable uterine wall, resembling leather in the past, was now ready, waiting, warm and soft.
12 months is a long time when you are focussed on every single change in a mare’s body and mind…  I almost went out of my own mind in the last few months as the time of Phoenix’s early birth came and went, but this little foal stayed put.  The vets had a guesstimate of mid November, so once again I started going grey, and the Moet remained in the fridge untouched.

Thursday December 23rd at 3.45am, after a dose of accident remedy to stave off any excessive labour pain, my beautiful Cosi finally realised the promise I had made to her 8 years ago, and Promise came into this world, amidst a still summer’s evening, hardly a whisper from her mother, but lots of tears from me.  I managed to come back to earth long enough to administer her remedy 13, retained placenta, just in case, but everything seemed perfect.

Her full name is “Promise Me A Miracle” and whilst she is still changing, it looks like she will be a Golden Buckskin… just what I had prayed for from a palomino mother and black as the ace of spades father.  She is everything I ever dreamed of, and more, but nothing will ever surpass the sheer love and joy I felt when I saw Cosi nurture that foal for the first time.  Cosi is the centre of my universe, no doubt about that, and without your help with her specific healing plan and continued backup, none of this would have happened.

Cathy, is it any wonder that I tell everyone about you, everyone who needs help, be it for themselves, or their beloved animals. Anyone who needs a miracle, when they have run out of hope.  You have helped create a miracle, in a little paddock in Mundijong WA, that has helped heal the hearts of a beautiful mare and her eternally grateful and blissfully happy owner.  I can never, ever, thank you enough from the bottom of my heart.  Love Allyson

Help for a Retired Race Horse

Mace is a thoroughbred Gelding who was destined for the Dogger’s after developing hip problems during his racing career.  How could they even consider destroying such a beautiful animal – so to our home he came and with that a number of problems.  Having been stabled, hard fed and only knowing one speed for much of his 7 years it was a huge job to re-programme and teach him it was ok to be a real horse!!!  My first ride resulted in me spending a couple of days in hospital after a good fall from a horse that was frantic at being in the real world, not being asked to go flat out and coming off the high potency hard feed he had been used to.  A good friend of mine recommended I contact Cathy and have her take a look at him.  Of course there were immense problems so Cathy devised a plan starting with a complete detox and tonic, numerous remedies to assist his inner being and with the added frustration of wet weather (rain scald) and buffalo flies, remedies to assist in that area also……..  Our healing for Mace had begun and within a couple of weeks his temperament changed dramatically, he lost his frenetic jumpy energy and became calm and manageable.  To administer the remedies I needed to put a dropper or spray into his mouth which initially was met with much resistance.  After a short time he knew what was expected and would open his mouth without any prompting at all.  Quite hilarious to witness.  Obviously feeling better became a priority for him as well.   Flies biting and Rain Scald are a thing of the past and after 2 healing plans  we now have a beautiful placid, healthy and loving horse. His coat, mane and tail are now silky and shiny and this is NOT a result of washing/conditioning.  Purely a result of the remedies and of course loving care.

A couple of days ago Mace was seen eating Frangipani branches and the milk sap has affected his nose/mouth area seriously.  I phoned Cathy and true to form nothing was too much trouble altho’ she was extremely busy.  She looked then and there at what I should do, I gave him the correct remedy and 3 days later he almost fully recovered.

As a footnote – both myself and partner are now on plans to assist our bodies to be the best they can and already varicose veins are disappearing, skin and hair are glowing and an overall feeling of well being is taking place.

Cathy is my earth Angel and to know that our bodies can be assisted without the aid of doctors/chemicals and hugely expensive veterinary bills is undoubtedly a bonus.

I give thanks to Cathy every day for her generous spirit, unfailing desire to help all animals and people alike and her gift for healing is truly a blessing.

Horse with Dislocated Shoulder

Hi Cathy

I just wanted to thank you, I dont know what I would do now without my first aid kit….

Mac, my big 17.2 hand thoroughbred received a nasty kick from my other boy last night. He dislocated his shoulder, very very badly. It was such an ugly horrible thing to see, … my precious Mac in so much terrible pain. I dont know how I managed to stay upright when I found him like that, but nonetheless, bolted home and collected everything I could think of….
I had very little Accident remedy left so just poured what was left in the vial into the syringe.  A couple of hours later I gave him some sports remedy for his muscular pain.  He looked terrible, muscles pushed into places they shouldnt be, his scapula at an absurd angle, and he couldnt move.

macs-shoulder-photo
I sent the pic to the vet in Esperance (normally a 4 hour drive from here, but with an injured horse, double that) and I had an appointment booked for 8.30am tomorrow…  It seemed that he had broken his scapula, hence the angle of his shoulder, and the possibility that I may have to send him to heaven was very real.  He has been locked in a small yard all day until I knew whether it was best to encourage him to move or encourage him to rest…

I spent most of the day in tears, especially when I heard from his old owner. She told me that she wasnt worried, that Mac had more love to give, that she was happy when I showed up to meet him as she sensed a connetion between us, and that our story was not over. Great. More tears.

I got to the horse block tonight in high winds and with the horse float on the back. My mare took off (its all about her lol – she hates the float!!!) and as I watched she bolt past Mac’s yard which made him break into a TROT! He continued just running around in his yard looking for all the world like nothing was wrong.
He overdid it a little and got a bit stiff and sore, but nothing that caused me concern.

WAHOOOOOO!

mac
I dont know if it was the remedies or if he would have popped his shoulder back by himself or not, but I tell you what, when faced with the early death of a beautiful boy like that, I dont care….  I am so relieved I am exhausted……

So thanks.. from the bottom of my heart. I still dont really understand how it all works, but Im loving it….. My beloved Mac is still with me….

Anxiety in Horses

This Case study and following testimonial relate to a mare that had 4 months earlier lost twin foals due to complications.

Her owner emailed this email on 28 January 2011

Meg is a 14yo 16.1hh stunning Appaloosa that I have owned for 6 years.  I had shown her for several years and 9 times out of 10 she’d bring the blue ribbon & a purple sash home, I haven’t shown her now for about 2 years.
She has had 2 stunning foals and last year she was to have her 3rd but in early September she slipped twins with only 9 weeks to go.  One was a fully formed buckskin colt with an appy blanket & the 2nd was mummified at approx 5.5 months into the pregnancy.  We didn’t know she was having twins as it didn’t show on the scan but at around 5.5 months she bagged right up and started dripping milk (which she did for 4 days), the vet gave me an injection to give to her to stop her from foaling plus an oral antibiotic powder to be given to her in her daily feed & she was to be given Regumate daily until 2 weeks before her due date.  When she slipped the twins she went into what I would call a state of depression.
The season after what was her foaling season we tried to put her onto the float but she totally & utterly refused & locked her legs, there was no way she was going to get on that float.  We even tried 2 friends floats but no way was she getting on them either.  This happened for the next 2 seasons, so needless to say she in not in foal now – you probably think I’m silly but I reckon she just didn’t want to leave her babies (which are buried near her paddock & she watched me at the time).
This is a mare that would self load and was used to teach youngsters about float loading & travel with them to comfort them & who was regularly taken to shows either on her own in the float or with another horse.
Also now she can’t stand the farrier putting shoes on her & she tries every trick in the book to avoid it, pulls back etc & she even sometimes rears, we generally have to twitch her (lucky he’s a patient man & really likes the mare).
We tried loading her on a float again 2 weeks ago but she still absolutely totally refuses to get on.  She even lets our 7yo appy gelding boss her around and chase her :(
All of this out of character behaviour has only happened in the last 5 months since loosing the twins.
Apart from the issues above she’s fine to do anything with, even go out for a trail ride on her own or in company.
So would recommend your ‘Stress Relief’ for her or something else ??

sue-sharpe-megs

We recommended the Grief remedy as we have seen similar depression and anxiousness in other mares that have miscarried or lost foals.  On 9 February, 12 days later Meg’s owner sent the following email:

Well I have been totally & utterly amazed in the change of my 14yo Appaloosa mare who lost twins last September, she no longer is depressed & is once again waiting at the gate for her feeds & whinnying out to me whenever she sees me…….Your ‘Grief Remedy’ has been a miracle & I still can’t get over that I only had to give her one dose.  Next week I will see if she’s more willing to get back on a float and leave her twins grave, I truly believe she will :-) )))))))))))))

Obviously Meg’s owner is over the moon that one dose of one remedy can achieve such an amazing healing results.  We see this all the time.  The power of energy remedies has been undervalued for so long.  Now is the time to start healing yourself and your animals naturally.  The wonderful side effect of this is that energy remedies are very cost effective and we can all use some of that in our lives.

Healing movement issues in horses

Following is a testimonial from Sandy H., Toogoolawa, Qld  about her horse Earl that was struggling to move freely and was lacking energy and enthusiasm:

I have been using Heal with Ease remedies for about 10 months now for various problems with my horses. The remedies are easy to use, are effective and Cathy gives me great back up support.

Recently I contacted Cathy regarding my 3 yr old thoroughbred, Earl, who has only been broken in for a few months. Earl was very unenergetic when being ridden and had developed a jerky movement in one of his hind legs. Every now and then he would drag the leg and would have trouble backing up. Cathy suggested we put him on a healing plan which I agreed to.

earlEarl has just finished the first 6 weeks of the plan and I have seen some very good results. At one stage he did seem to get much worse and for a couple of days he seemed to be dragging the leg most of the time and then it started to improve. He can step over much better and only has a very small catch in the leg. Earl just seems to be so much happier in himself as well. I have had a couple of really nice rides on him where he felt so much better and cantered with some energy but not silly. He seems to be playing more often with my other 3 yr old and for longer and more energetic. Earl has always been a sweet natured horse even when he was a foal but now he seems to be more aware of me and happier to be with me. I’m sure that the healing plan has helped Earl deal with some emotional problems as well as the obvious physical one.

I was a bit upset when Earl got so much worse. Cathy answered my questions and explained that during the course of remedies that as the body was healing things could get worse. She is very supportive and patient and I thank her for all her help not just with Earl but with my other horses also.

Relief for horses with Qld Itch

Lois K, lives at Caboolture in Qld.  The climate can be quite warm and from time to time it can be very wet.  Lois first contacted us mid-June 2009 to order an Itchy Pet Kit for her horse that was itching badly.

Mid July, Lois emailed us with the following:magic

Hi again Cathy and Eric, Just wanted to let you know that we are up to day 9 of the treatment, so Magic will have a couple of days off before the last remedy. In the 7 days of detox, he has already shown less of a need to scratch. Also I think there were traces of worms in his faeces, which is interesting, because he was wormed with … on 6th of June.  Also he seems to have improved in temperament. Normally he’s quite a highly strung horse, very nervy to ride out and often forgets his manners on the ground. So I’m looking forward to starting work with him again.

Regards………….Lois K.

On 27th of July this email from Lois:

Hi Cathy, Just an update to let you know that Magic is doing really well after the completion of the itch remedy course. I have spent countless dollars on external applications, which required me to be constantly washing him, or rubbing something in which only made his rugs dirtier, and in the end he just seemed to get worse. After being washed and plied with soothing lotions, he’d rush off to the nearest tree/post/chook pen and attack his itch with great enthusiasm, much to my dismay. Now he’s much calmer and I just don’t see and scratching going on at all.  I am so impressed!

Regards…………Lois K.

On the 3rd August Lois approved us putting Magic’s details on our website with:

You are welcome to use my email on your website. I have taken some photos, but they are from last Friday and I don’t have anything to show what it was like before. However you can see the bits of hair missing where it has to grow back yet. I took all his rugs off last Friday as it was such a hot day and was amazed by the shine on his coat. You can see that in one of the shots.

Regards Lois K.

Dream recovery for new horse

Karen contacted us on 6 March 2009 with the following issues with her newly rehomed horse, Dream:

poor-dream

Dream has a lesion on his neck which is approx. 6cm in length and 3-4 cm in height. At times scaly, sometimes little pimple/wart lumps come up inside the edges of the lesion (will send photo). Exp horse friend thinks looks suspiciously like sarcoid tumour. Haven’t had that verified by vet as I read that taking biopsy can make the sarcoid worse.

We have had Dream for just over a week now. He is in poor condition – thin, and has various problems like conjunctivitis, numerous cuts on hind legs and is bitten badly by black flies (our other 2 horses are not bothered by them). Dream has what looks like 50-100 flies on him most of the time, the other horses might have up to 20.

He also has one white foot affected by greasy heel.

I would like to build up his immune system and general health.

Together Karen & I have been working with Dream to achieve good health after such a terrible start.

The following email was received by us from Karen on 19 November 2009.  I has been a long haul, but finally Dream is feeling and looking a lot better.  In the end we ran a healing plan on Dream to get to the root cause of his ill health.

healthy-dream

I am very happy with his progress.  You can see his sarcoid today in one of the photos, it has shrunk a small amount and has a large eruption which is cracking and weeping but it definitely hasn’t worsened since we’ve had him.  In fact one of his sarcoids ( a small one on his other side) has completely gone.  There are a few pinhead sized growths on him, which I suspect are small sarcoids, but they are not growing.

The farrier is pleased with his barefoot management, although he does have thrush at the moment.  Overall though his feet are coming along nicely.

His coat looks good and has a nice sheen and his attitude and energy levels are very good.  In fact he is playing for the first time; rearing, bucking and running about with our mare (not with me- thank heavens!).  It is so pleasing to see him enjoying himself.

Many thanks for all your help, feel free to use these photos if you think they are of use.

Best wishes

Karen

Natural Treatment Greasy Heel Remedies

Sue first contacted us in March 2009 with the following email:

I am keen to find out about your natural remedies and in particular I saw the case study on “look at me now”. I am grappling with something similar on the 4 white feet of my horse and after many products and vet bills am still not winning ( some 10 weeks later). I was surprised with the immediate change based on the photos. I would be keen to know what was involved and what products I would need.

We discussed Audi’s immunisations and his general health, did up a consultation form and worked with his photos (below) to choose correct remedies.

photo-of-audis-foot

Audi has been well for the last month or so and Sue sent through the following testimonial today, 7 September 2009:

“ I was at my wits end and needing help. I had been given the Heal with Ease website by a friend who knew my dilemma and total frustration with what had been 6 months work with the vet and numerous interventions that had not resolved my horses issue. Not to mention the bill I was in the process of paying off. My issues appeared similar to the horse Cheroke, like a swamp fever or greasy heel. I tried everything with the vet, and after 6 months the vet advised they were out of ideas or options. The condition spread to all Audi’s feet, particularly in the white and would look a little better and then get worse. I was at my wits end and did n’t know what else to do!

Cathy turned out to be my saviour, we exchanged photos, and emails regularly, she provided quick detailed updates and plans to implement as we worked every day on the tonics, changing weekly, based on photos and a review. It was wonderful to have the advise and confidence from someone when I was so stressed about the condition of Audi’s feet and how long we had been trying to resolve this. He too was over me scrubbing his legs and touching raw wounds. How wonderful it was to deal with Cathy, the support and empathy and the encouragement. It was hard to believe as we worked with the oral administration… before my eyes Audi’s legs began to heal. Handling him was easy, and administering the tonic effortless… the stress in the process had disappeared.

It took about 6 weeks and the improvement was fabulous…. I had a happier, healthy horse and I was a happier, less stressed owner!

I cannot thank Cathy enough and the Heal with Ease tonics and Cathy’s personal consultation and advise. I highly recommend them and have them ready to go should the need arise.”

Dream Horse with a Sudden Choking problem

Hi guys,

Last week my TB gelding Dream was doing a strange thing with his neck and it took us a while to figure out he was having difficulty swallowing/choking. I stayed with himdream-photo while my daughter ran up to the house to get the remedy first aid kit and I gave him No 10 Sudden Illness.

No joke, in under a minute he was over it and in about 2-3 mins was back to eating with no more choking or struggling to swallow.

Not sure if he had just finished his choking and the timing was a coincidence or whether it was the drops but I was giving full credit to the drops and was so happy I could do something without having to call the vet!

I love these kits and use them on myself, my kids, sometimes my husband (if he lets me LOL) and all my animals. My horses have come on well after returning to the Tonic regularly.

Thanks again,

Karen

Tessa keeps getting colic

Tessa’s owner contacted us the week before Christmas.  Tessa had colic, again.  During previous episodes, Tessa had been visited by the vet at a hefty cost to her owner.  This time she was treated homeopathically with Heal with Ease products that were on hand.

Following Tessa’s owner tells what happened:
I was impressed at how effective the homeopathic treatment was on Tessa’s colic.  I felt the treatment was so much  kinder on her system and her recovery was so much quicker than what I have previously observed using the veterinary treatment of pain killers and sedatives.

Following is what I have observed in the treatment of Tessa using homopathy:

Tuesday morning Tessa had colic, within an hour of applying homeopathic treatment there was a slight improvement.  Throughout the day on Tuesday I checked on her condition and  gave her a few more doses of the homeopathic treatment as per Cathy’s advice and her condition slowly improved, it did not deteriorate. By Tuesday night  she was eating and looking pretty good. Wednesday morning she was fine and really alert as if nothing had ever happened.
