Homeopathy for my animals

We have been using the Heal with Ease products for a few years now with some wonderful results; whether on our horses, dogs, cat, chickens, goat, wild birds or us for all different ailments (stress, pain, poisoning, infections, wounds, anxiety, so far).

We have particularly had great success with treating abscesses; our cat was severely limping on a leg one afternoon, by the next morning after administering the abscess remedy, the abscess had opened, burst and was on the way to healing.

A gelding of ours had an abscess on his cheek, couldn’t eat but after administering the ‘magic drops’ it burst in front of our eyes!

Our heavily pregnant mare had multiple abscesses in her hoof (x-ray revealed) and was immobile, with initial hesitation of relying totally on Heal with Ease, but with Cathy’s guidance and our horse showing us her mental improvement (even our farrier was impressed), we gained confidence daily during her recovery.

We love how safe, easy to use and not to mention the thousands of dollars we have saved from vet bills.

One of our horses suffered a bout of colic and we immediately grabbed our HWE kit, by the time the vet had arrived the colic had disappeared leaving our vet intrigued with what we used.

We have even used the drops on my family – healing my daughter’s puncture wound (no antibiotics) and muscular pain. The remedies continue to amaze us. Cathy has always been there when we needed her advice as we were gaining confidence on when and how to use the remedies (even when her cat was giving birth, she was hanging off the phone guiding us!).

A big thank-you to Eric also, who has been most helpful on the odd times that we have not been able to reach Cathy.

We look back and are so thankful we were open-minded to trying Heal with Ease.

We highly recommend that anyone and everyone have this easy to use, safe, amazing results, invaluable HWE kit on hand!

Using HWE products for footrot and three day sickness in cattle

Hi Cathy

I started writing this last night as I really wanted to give you some feed back on all the good things that have been happening.

We have had an interesting time of late. As you know several of the new cattle we purchased from NSW came down with foot rot after weeks and weeks (months) of rain. We treated the first three with antibiotics and they recovered in one day or two. But once the Heal with Ease remedies arrived I started treating the cattle with the drops instead. Any cattle showing any signs of limping I treated with the Abscess treatment for two days (morning and afternoon – a couple of drops on the nose) and then Travel Sickness remedy for two days (in the morning only – a couple of drops on the nose). They have all recovered well in two to three days. The younger heifers responded very quickly.

The cattle are much happier to get a back scratch and a couple of drops on their nose in the paddock. It is much easier – on them and us. Especially compared to rounding them up, forcing them through the crush and then giving them a rather heavy needle in either side of their rump. Giving them drops is ‘a walk in the park’ (or should I say paddock!).

Three days ago we had a cow showing definite signs of Three Day Sickness. I put two drops of the Fever remedy on her nose when she was laying down in a gully (struggling to get up). Then I left her overnight with a basin of water with three drops in it. The next morning the basin was empty, the cow was out of the gully and munching away up the hill with the rest of the herd! I couldn’t believe my eyes. What a relief. This was one of the cows that had to deal with sore feet only weeks earlier (she got the needle poor thing).

So thank you very much for such wonderful products. Heal with Ease is a much friendlier, healthier and less expensive way of dealing with what were ongoing problems. It really has taken a lot of the worry out of it for us.

Kindest regards

Bringing home a new budgerigar

My daughter had been wanting a budgie for a pet of her own, and had saved her money hard and waited a long time.  So off to the shops with her Christmas money to find the perfect blue boy budgie.  In the pet shop amongst all the flapping of excited wings my daughter selected her “Sonic”.  We carred the shoe box carefully home and then placed him in a well prepared quiet area for him to settle in.

sarahs-budgie

Well “Sonic” wasn’t happy at all, he stayed on the floor of his cage, shaking, closing his eyes and he had diarrhea.  Things were not going to plan!  We hoped that after a quiet night he may be OK, but he was still the same the next morning.  I rang the pet store and they explained that it can take a while for a budgie to settle in.  Well a budgie is not going to take being in this state for too long!  They suggested that we bring him back in for some antibiotics – I also knew that this would probably just do him in- with more stress!

So, a phone call to Cathy, and she suggested the “Stress Relief Remedy” which I had at home.  Well, within an hour he chirped his first chirp, and started to move around on the bottom of the cage.  The next day another remedy, and after that he was eating his seed and climbed up onto his perch.  One normal happy budgie finally.

Sonic now enjoys coming out of his cage at least once daily, he helps with the afternoon homework, and plays in the dolls house regularly.  He is a confident, happy and very cute dear friend to my daughter.  Thanks Cathy!

Ebonee had Cushings Disease

‘Heal with Ease’ – our saviours !

Thank you sooooo much for saving my 12yr old Flat Coated Retriever ‘Ebonee’ who is my baby and the love of my life.

beauiful-ebonee-040506_sml

It all started back in January 2009 when a lump was discovered on her stomach which turned out to be a malignant ‘mammary gland cancer’.  This was removed during surgery and during her recovery after surgery, it was noticed her hair wasn’t growing back where they had shaved her for surgery.  After surgery and of course with her age, she also became more lethargic, started drinking more water, urinating more etc.  More and more tests determined she then had ‘Cushings Disease’ but to determine which gland was causing the Cushings Disease (to determine which treatment she would go on), she then underwent an ultrasound (where of course she had to be sedated).

So we went to Sydney for the routine ultrasound to determine which gland was causing her Cushings Disease, turned out to be the saddest day of my life.  I was informed she now had a small mass on her liver and she would need further major surgery.

Upon consulting with my vet who then consulted with a ‘Cushings Disease Specialist’ in WA, this specialist suggested the ‘Cushings Disease’ could be causing the ‘mass on the liver’ and so we went ahead and started treating her for the Cushings with 0.5ml of ‘Trilostane’ every morning.

We’ve had numerous blood and urine tests to check the right dosage of ‘Trilostane’ is correctly treating the Cushings and she started to pick up, less lethargic, hair started to grow back and started to generally get back to her old self (well close to anyway given her age).

But after a few months, she started going downhill again, lethargic, gone off her food (not a good sign for a Retriever who was VERY food motivated).  Heaps of dandruff started appearing (she only used to get that in the show / obedience ring when she became stressed) and she’s loosing her hair in clumps.  I have another good vet who does Chiropractor / laser acupuncture work on all my 3 elderly dogs (to help with their arthritis).  He thoroughly checked her over including her heart.  Heart sounded fine however, her pulse was extremely slow to push out the blood to her body.  So now she’s not only on ‘Trilostane’ for Cushings but is also on 2.5mg ‘Vetmedin’ to help the heart.

Although we are trying everything to make her comfortable, my instincts were telling me that the original mass on the liver is cancer and is causing all her symptoms (her littermate sister recently died of cancer) and most Flatcoated Retriever’s die of cancer.  So we went back to the Vet who did ‘blood liver enzymes’ test and sure enough, her liver enzymes are high which suggests cancer in the liver.  The only true way to diagnose this is to put her under again for more ultrasounds which I don’t want to do given her age and I don’t want to push her and cause her more stress.  My vet knows how I feel and is suggesting I put her on some type of ‘Hills Science Diet – Liver Diet’ to help the Liver.  She’s also suggesting I find some homoeopathy remedy to help as well.

Obviously, I don’t wish to go down the road of ultrasounds, chemotherapy, radiotherapy as she’s already nearly 12yrs old – Flatcoat’s average lifespan is 8-12yrs anyway and I want to make her as comfortable as possible with no stress to see out her final time.  She’s not in any pain that we can tell at this stage as she’s still wagging her tail and still wanting to go for walks (although they are slow).

Ebonee then went off her food for 5 days – she was dying and vets were at a loss of what to do and told me to expect the worst.  I rang Cathy out of desperation in September 2009.

Cathy suggested I take Ebonee off the ‘Trilostane’ medication immediately, start giving her the ‘poison’ remedy until I could receive Cathy’s ‘healing plan for Ebonee’.  Within days, Ebonee started to eat again – yah.  Then it was onwards and upwards from there with Cathy’s healing plans.

It’s now April 2010 and although Ebonee is 12yrs old and going strong.  I’ve got my girl back again – YIPPEE – thank you once again Cathy, I would have lost her for sure without you.

Kind regards

Dogs with Conjunctivitis

Healing Pepsi’s conjunctivitis

Pepsi is a Hairless Chinese Crested dog, who is now 9 months old.pepsi-1110

From 7 months old, he had very ‘junky’ eyes.

We went to the vet & were given Optimmune, Ophthalmic ointment (extremely expensive, obscene amount of money for a small tube) & Systane eye drops.

After using this for approx 4 weeks, with NO changes at all to Pepsi’s eyes, I contacted Cathy & Eric of Heal with Ease to ask for HELP.

Cathy recommended that I use from the Beginners kit, No.4 bottle for 2 days, then No.6 bottle for 2 days, which I did. When I used this treatment, I totally STOPPED the vets treatment.

I told my husband to expect Pepsi’s eyes to get a lot worse, before they got better & this definitely happened, the junk was pumping out of his eyes, we were cleaning them up to 8 times a day.

Now 4 weeks later, there has been NO JUNK out of Pepsi’s eyes for about a week.

This is the best his eyes have looked in over 2 months.

At the same time, the bad pimple out break that Pepsi was also experiencing, on his neck & back, has also cleared up by 95% & won’t be long before it is fully gone.

I cannot say thank you enough for the help & immediate response from Cathy & Eric.

Treating horses for Buffalo Fly

Testimonial about treating horses for Buffalo Fly by Sandy H., Toogoolawah, Qld

My horses have been annoyed by buffalo fly during the day and mosquitos and midges at night. Early in the morning and early in the evening were the worst times with the norm1horses all agitated, tails swishing, kicking out and running about.

I came across the Heal with Ease website while looking for a natural remedy to help my horses with this problem. I don’t like the idea of constantly putting chemicals on my animals to deter insects. I emailed Cathy at Heal with Ease for some information about the buffalo fly remedy and she replied that day.

I rang Cathy and ordered the buffalo fly remedy and the beginner’s kit and she put them in the mail for me straight away. I received them the next day. As soon as I got the remedy I started dosing my horses per Cathy’s instructions. After two days, two of my horses had a huge reduction in the number of buffalo fly on them and after five days were fly free. My other two horses took a little longer but after ten days now have just a couple of flies each on them. At dusk, when the mosquitos and midges come out, the horses haven’t been showing their normal agitation. I would say that the remedy is helping with that also.

The remedy is easy to give to my horses. I mix the drops with a little water in a syringe and squirt it into their mouths. After I had given them the first couple of doses I now don’t even need to put a halter on them. I show each horse the syringe; they sniff it, and then open their mouth for me to squirt it in.

My horses are much happier and are spending more time grazing instead of worrying about insects biting them. Thank you Heal with Ease for a wonderful product and thank you to Cathy for her support and answering my many questions so quickly.

Natural treatment of Three 3 Day Sickness in cattle

Bovine ephemeral fever: Three Day Sickness in cattle

Purchase your natural homeopathic Heal with Ease Three (3) day remedy now.

Signs and Symptoms of 3 day sickness in cattle (information from DPI)

There is a sudden onset of fever- as high as 41oC compared with the normal temperature of about 38oC. The temperature returns to normal within 36 hours. The first sign in milking cows is a sudden mob-of-cattleand severe drop in milk production. Cows in advanced pregnancy may abort. This is probably because of the fever, rather than a specific effect of the virus.

Animals stop eating and drinking and become depressed. They usually drool saliva, develop a stringy nasal discharge, and may have watery eyes.

Affected animals may shiver and often become very stiff with a shifting lameness, and are reluctant to move. Lameness may not become apparent until the second day of illness. The joints may appear swollen and sometimes there is swelling around the jaw.  Some animals – particularly the heavier ones – just lie down and refuse to move.

By day three the affected animal is usually standing again and will begin to eat. However, lameness and weakness may last for another two or three days.

In the vast majority of cases the disease runs a short course, followed by rapid and complete recovery. However, the disease can vary in severity. Some animals may show only slight symptoms for about 24 hours, while a small number may stay down for many weeks. The disease is usually milder in calves under 12 months of age.

Milk production usually drops by at least 50% in sick cows. In dairy herds it is the highest producing animals that are usually the most severely affected. Yield should return nearly to normal after about three weeks, but cows affected late in lactation often dry off. Mastitis sometimes develops, with a marked rise in the somatic cell count.

Bulls and fat cows tend to show more severe signs than other cattle. Such animals lose condition rapidly and are slow to regain their body weight. A proportion of bulls will suffer temporary infertility lasting from three to six months because of the high fever. Permanent infertility is uncommon but can occur.

A small proportion of animals that go down may suffer a permanent paralysis due to damage to the spinal cord- either as a direct effect of the virus, or due to injuries if they fall awkwardly.

Although most of the herd can be affected, deaths from ephemeral fever are uncommon and rarely involve more than 1% of the herd. Death is usually the result of misadventure or being down for a long period.

How Homeopathy can help with Three (3) day sickness in Cattle

Living in south-east Queensland we have had experience with a number of cattle each year coming down with three day sickness.  Our clients also report three day sickness among their herds.  We always treat at the first signs,  with the Heal with Ease 3 day sickness remedy.  This is a special blend designed specifically to treat 3 day in cattle.  This remedy can pull the three day up overnight.    Treatment is by putting the remedies in a drink bottle of water, shake and administer on the nose of the sick animal where they lay.

Experience of treatment like this shows the animal up and around within an hour or two.  Follow up treatment may be done the next day but has been found unnecessary.

Testimonial by HWE farmer:

Hi Eric & Cathy.

Just an up date on the heifer with 3 day. She was so sick.  On the Saturday afternoon I mixed up the Infection No. 2 & Fever no.4 & squirted it on her nose. She was just sitting there. I could even rub her around the eyes.

Sunday morning I mixed up the remedies to put more on her nose.  As soon as I got close to her she got up. I could not get any more on her.  She was starting to eat again by Sunday afternoon.  She has now completely recovered.

Thank you so much.

Treating your family with homeopathy

This testimonial comes from me.  You know over the last eleven years of working with homeopathy I have had many empowered moments when one of my kids or animals has become suddenly ill.

It was only yesterday, Sunday, when we were at our daughter Hannah’s gymnastics competition.  We had been there an hour, when our six year old Brockie needed a quick dash to the toilet.  Okay, no problem.  I jumped up to take him.  He went, washed his hands and had to run back in.  Okay, not finished.  Then he started to cry out in pain.

img_2994

Many of us mothers have been there done this, but who amongst us has had the power to truly do something to help.  It was Sunday, as usual, it always happens on Sundays!!

Without my remedies to help, I would have been at the hospital for hours, maybe overnight if it progressed to something bad.

Not me, not this time.  I had someone run to the car for my Beginners Kit.  By the time they returned Brock had had another three severe cramping events, screaming so loud I though the whole gymnastics building, maybe even half of Beaudesert had heard.

The poison remedy is the first choice for vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps (not period pain).  One dose of the remedy, one more cramp, then it was gone.

Two minutes later I rose from the floor where I had been cradling my unwell baby (he’s six, but still my baby).  We washed up, walked out and finished watching the competition without another drama.  Two hours after the first event he was eating lunch and chatting happily like nothing had happened.

There is a few reasons why I write this today, firstly is to empower you to use your remedies in the first instance, carry them with you always, we have kits in both cars and the kitchen of our house.  We use them when we are out and about for bites, falls, injuries, stomach upsets and other little things that come up.  They save us a lot of time, stress and our wellbeing.

I guess the other thing I thought you might get out of this testimonial is to know that we use our products, everyday with our family, domestic animals – cats, dogs, ducks, chooks and for all the farm animals that live on the 3500 acres that we are so lucky to inhabit.  We are real people, using a product we have developed to help others.  It has never been about becoming rich, it has always and will always be about helping others.  Helping you to create or maintain good health in your home.

Here are some other moments you can be empowered:

- Illness that comes on suddenly after cold/wet, using No. 10 Sudden Illness asap.

- Sore throat, think either No. 2 Infection or No. 4 Fever.

- Falls, head hits – always No. 1 immediately to relieve shock.

- Bites & Stings – No. 5 quickly eases pain and dissipates poison.

Have your remedies with you wherever you go and never lend them to anyone.  It will be at that moment that you actually need them the most.

If you have any questions for us, please contact us at healwithease@bigpond.com.

Dream Horse with a Sudden Choking problem

Hi guys,

Last week my TB gelding Dream was doing a strange thing with his neck and it took us a while to figure out he was having difficulty swallowing/choking. I stayed with himdream-photo while my daughter ran up to the house to get the remedy first aid kit and I gave him No 10 Sudden Illness.

No joke, in under a minute he was over it and in about 2-3 mins was back to eating with no more choking or struggling to swallow.

Not sure if he had just finished his choking and the timing was a coincidence or whether it was the drops but I was giving full credit to the drops and was so happy I could do something without having to call the vet!

I love these kits and use them on myself, my kids, sometimes my husband (if he lets me LOL) and all my animals. My horses have come on well after returning to the Tonic regularly.

Thanks again,

Karen

Cystic lumps on Beau the Belgian Shepherd

Julie contacted us in a last ditch effort to heal her Belgian Shepherd Beau of the horrendous cystic lumps he had all over his body.  Here is Julie’s original email on 22 May 2009:

I have a belgian shepherd 8yrs old, who had a burst cyst, he lumps all over his body, and my vet said it is not treatable, i have to take him to a dermatologist, currently he is on antibotics, she is concerned that the lumps may all start bursting and the worst would happen.

I would like to have the opportunity to treat him, he is in good health eats well and drinks.

Following is Julie’s testimonial about our healing work with Beau.  Testimonial received two months later on 27 July 2009

My Belgian Shepherd (8 years old) had lumps all over his body, one burst leaving a nasty looking hole, a trip to the vet and $800 later the lump turned out to be a cyst.

My vet suggested that I take him to a dermatologist which specialises in animals, some kms away from home a trip which would stress him out, I gave it some thought

and then thought there must be an alternative.  I didn’t want to put him under any more stress.

I went to the internet to look for some suggestions, I came across Heal With Ease, I emailed Cathy and got a response straight away telling me she could help

Beau and lets do it straight away and not waste time in getting him well.

Cathy was wonderful, she was always on hand with answers to any questions as silly as they were, she was a tower of strength for Beau and myself when I thought

it wasn’t going right.

I never had to wait for replies to my emails I could get in touch with her anytime, Beau thankfully is recovering well, the cysts have not disappeared but they are under

control and I know what to do for him now and I still call on Cathy for help, one particular cyst which was quite ugly and messy goo leaking, has disappeared completely

absolutely, to the point where I would like to take him to the vet to show them the result.

It will be a long process but we will get there, and Beau is not under any stress.
