My baby goats aren’t growing!!

If your baby animals aren’t growing or failing to thrive after weaning, then keep reading.

This is common that baby animals stop growing for a period after weaning.  It requires special attention to their diet, of course and drenching to ensure there are no parasites.  However, we recommend you go further than that and consider the emotional stress on your babies of what has just occurred.  They have been weaned off their mother and not only that they would have been taken away from her to ensure that they stay weaned.  There is a huge grief process happening right now.  Emotional pain very often transfers to physical problems, like failure to thrive.

The most important thing to remember when using our Heal with Ease kits is to be observant.  The observant animal owner can treat things as they arise before they become really big and then more difficult to heal.

For example, let’s say that it is Tick season.  Nasty, blood-sucking ticks. You’ve been for a bush walk with your dog and the next day he is looking a little off colour.  Assume that he has a tick somewhere on him. At this point it would be so tiny you would never find it.  Don’t spend all day looking, drop the Bites & Stings remedy on him and let the remedy move the tick off and dissipate the poison at the same time.

Another example, say you had your dog at the beach all day in Summer or you took your favourite horse out for a long ride in the heat of the day.  When they get home they are staggery and generally unwell. Think, what would have caused this – most people know if they give it a little thought. Homeopathic treatment of stock animals

Many times we have treated large mobs for different ailments, like scourers (or diarrhea) from eating rich green feed.  Sometimes we would bring the mob into the yards and lock them on the water for a few hours and at other times when they watered from one trough in the paddock we would drop the remedy into the trough and leave them to it.  It is amazing to see mobs of up to 2000 sheep healed overnight by a few drops in the water.

Natural Post Surgery Recovery for Animals

Retained Placenta Case Study

Living on a farm provides many opportunities for using our remedies, we have used them for treating the scourers on a mob of sheep that had been on rich food. The remedy went into the trough and treated each sheep as it came to get a drink. We also treated a mob of sheep with foot abscess by putting the remedy into a drench pack and drenching them with it. This was very successful. Abscesses are quickly brought to a head, allowed to weep and heal.

We have a wonderful remedy for treating pink eye in cattle. All this being amazing as it was, the most amazing thing we have ever seen is when a cow had a difficult birth that resulted in a retained placenta. Three men had been working on her all afternoon, when Eric remembered that we had a homoeopathic remedy for this exact problem. He rushed home and grabbed the remedy. We all went to watch – what would happen?

The remedy was dispensed on her nose and the minute it hit her blood stream the placenta fell out the back. It was very impressive to see.

Spider Bite Case Study

Our neighbour had a little dog (full grown) playing outside in the yard when it was bitten by a poisonous spider. The dog immediately went down with the poison. Craig rang the vet, he was three hours away. Craig was beside himself and then he remembered that we did alternative therapy. He rang us and came over and got the poison remedy from us. We instructed him how to use it as he was not capable in his state to read any instructions. After treating the little dog 6 times in the next 1/2 hour, the dog slept very heavily throughout the night and awoke the next morning happy and healthy as normal. Probably a good point to make at this moment is to familiarise yourself with the remedies in a quiet moment, not in a crisis situation.
